The Borealis Lounge is the Home of the Aurora Club Jazz Jam Live podcast and the home base of the recently released Jazz Jam Live best-of CD.

Lookout Birdland! The Fat Man knows jazz, and when he came across a new band - The Aurora Club - playing in a backwater bar, he knew he was onto something big, big BIG! He set em up as the house band at the Borealis Lounge, creating the new favorite hep place for beat cool jazz hipsterz. So pull up a chair and have a Cuban Cola, kick back and listen to 100 percent organic and original jazz. Say Thank Ya to FM.

The AC is dedicated to jazz jams in a mix of styles ala Monk, Mingus, Miles, Corea, Evans and more. West Coast, East Coast, North Coast, Urban, Bourbon, Prairie Populism - its all here. Explore jazz how it was meant to be - good friends getting together to improvise, groove and experiment.

The Aurora Club features Dan Crosbie on Trumpet & Congas, Paul Patzloff on Drums, Jonathan Vlaming on Bass, and the mysterious Dr. F. on Piano! Dan, Paul and Jonathan live in a country with a cold climate and Cuban Colas! Dr. F travels from afar to join the jam.
